The Bible has been compiled by God for a divine and intentional purpose. When that purpose is understood, it becomes the sweeping framework that gives meaning and context to every chapter and every verse from Genesis to Revelation. The Scriptures are not random writings, nor a collection of human opinions  they are the unfolding revelation of God’s heart.

Just before Israel was carried into exile in Babylon, God spoke a powerful declaration of love over His people. His words to them are the same words He speaks to us today. God says that He knows the plans He has made for us but He does not hide those plans. He reveals them openly, and the place where He reveals them is the Bible, His written Word.

Scripture is not a mystery book; it is God’s self‑revelation. It is where He unfolds His intentions, His desires, His warnings, His promises, and His purpose for your life.

John, the apostle, clearly states the reason he wrote his Gospel: These things are written so that you may believe and that by believing you may have life in His name.” (John 20:31)

This purpose is true for the entire Word of God. The Bible is your manual for life crafted by the Holy Spirit to guide you into truth, into relationship, and into destiny.

The Bible Reveals Jesus — the Key to Life

Jesus told the religious leaders:

“The Scriptures testify of Me.” (John 5:39–40)

And He prayed:

“This is eternal life: that they may know You… and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” (John 17:3)

Every book of the Bible points to Jesus. He is the centre, the message, the meaning, and the life.

The Bible Brings You Into the “Born Again” Life

Peter writes: You have been born again… through the living and enduring Word of God.” (1 Peter 1:23)

The Word of God does not only inform it transforms. It awakens your spirit, gives you new life in Christ, and continues to feed your soul.

Jesus said: The words I speak to you… they are spirit and they are life. (John 6:63)

Those who hunger for God will always find fresh life in His Word.

Overview of the Life of Jesus

Jesus spent His earthly life revealing the heart of God. His words were not ordinary teachings they were life‑giving truths that called people into a new way of living. He taught love that goes beyond convenience, forgiveness that breaks chains, humility that reshapes the soul, and repentance that opens the door to transformation.

He said, “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:39), reminding us that love is the foundation of the Kingdom. He called His followers to radical forgiveness  “seventy times seven” (Matthew 18:22). He showed that greatness is found in serving others (Matthew 23:11), and He began His ministry with a call to repentance (Matthew 4:17). To help people understand heavenly truths, Jesus used parables simple stories with eternal meaning. The Sower teaches how hearts receive God’s word. The Good Samaritan reveals true compassion. The Prodigal Son shows the Father’s endless mercy.

Jesus began His ministry at about thirty years old (Luke 3:23), and for roughly three years He travelled through towns and villages bringing hope, healing, and truth. He healed the sick (Matthew 4:23), delivered the oppressed (Matthew 8:16), fed multitudes (John 6:1–14), raised the dead (John 11:1–44), and called ordinary people to follow Him (Matthew 4:19). His ministry was a living demonstration of God’s compassion reaching the broken, the rejected, and those society forgot.

Jesus’ death was not an accident  it was the fulfilment of God’s redemptive plan. He was betrayed, arrested, falsely accused, and crucified, yet every step fulfilled prophecy: “He was pierced for our transgressions” (Isaiah 53:5). He gave His life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45), the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). When He declared, “It is finished” (John 19:30), salvation was accomplished.
